New World Translation
Because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through himr and for him. Also, he is before all other things, and by means of him all other things were made to exist.
In the text of the New World Translation we find “other” four times. Instead, it is missing in the translations English Standard Version, Berean Study Bible, Berean Literal Bible, King James Bible, New King James Version, New American Standard Bible, NASB 1995, NASB 1977, Amplified Bible, Christian Standard Bible, Holman Christian Standard Bible, American Standard Version, Douay-Rheims Bible, International Standard Version, Literal Standard Version, New American Bible, NET Bible, New Revised Standard Version, New Heart English Bible, World English Bible, Young’s Literal Translation, and in others. This is due to the fact that that of the New World Translation is an illicit addition, by which one wants to deny the eternity of the Son of God – hence his divine nature – to make him appear as the first creature made by the Father, and a means for the creation of all other things. Nel testo greco non c’è “ἄλλος” (other). In the Greek text there is no “àllos” (other). Also, through the prophet Isaiah, God says these words: “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself.” (Isaiah 44:24) So how can a creature have assisted God in the creation of all other things, if God himself says through Isaiah that no one was with him when he made all things? Moreover, Scripture teaches that the first creature made by God was Behemoth (Job 40:15.19) which has the meaning of “Beast of beasts”, “Gigantic beast” (plural of the Hebrew Behemah, which means “Beast”), referring to the prevaricating angel, Satan. Jesus, the only begotten Son of God (John 1:14.18; 3:16.18; 1 John 4:9), is God himself (John 20:28; Acts 20:28; Colossians 2:9; Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 1:1; Revelation 22:6.16), but not another God, since he participates fully in the same and indivisible nature of the Father, so he can say: “All that belongs to the Father is mine” (John 16:15), by this also meaning the very nature of the Father. And also: “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30), intending to be, at the same time, another person with respect to the Father, but one only God with him. Likewise, the Spirit of God who is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16), is at the same time the Spirit of the Father (Matthew 10:20) and the Spirit of Jesus (Acts 16:6-7 ; Romans 8:9; Philippians 1:19; 1 Peter 1:11). Therefore Jesus, as a personal Lógos, is with the Father and the Holy Spirit “the creator of all things” (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2; Job 33:4). Jesus, as a personal Lógos, is prior to all things (Colossians 1:17), from eternity.
