Mark 13:32
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
If Jesus is one of the Trinity, why does he say he is ignorant of that day?
If on that occasion Jesus told his disciples to ignore that day, on another occasion he told them that he did not have the mission to reveal it, since that day is reserved for the authority of the Father (Acts 1:7). But Jesus is one God with the Father (John 10:30). He knows all things (John 21:17), since all the treasures of wisdom and science are hidden in him (Colossians 2:3), and therefore he cannot ignore that day. So when he said to ignore it, he meant that the time had not yet come to reveal it. This his disciples understood very well, otherwise they would not have asked him for that revelation for the second time (Acts 1:6), nor would Peter have affirmed that Jesus knows all things (John 21:17). God reserved that day for his authority, not revealing it to men, because he wants us to be awake, that we always be ready (Mark 12:33-36).
